Firefighters called to smell of burning in BT box

Firefighters were called out last night after reports of a burning smell from a BT box.

The box in Newton Road, Tollerton, had earlier been damaged in a road traffic collision

A thermal camera was used but no heat or fire was detected.

Barrier tape was placed around the box and the incident was left for BT engineers.
