Firefighters were called to rescue a cat from a roof yesterday.
The incident happened in Northallerton High at about 11.45am.
An officer attended a domestic property after a cat climbed through a window and onto the roof.
The cat was not responding to its owners, a North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
A fire crew from Northallerton was requested but on their arrival the cat ‘self rescued’ and climbed back through the window.
