Firefighters were called to help the ambulance service move a patient.
The incident happened at about 8.50am in Springfield, Stokesley.
Crews from Northallerton and Coulby Newham responded to a request from ambulance crews to help move a casualty from a house to the ambulance.
Firefighters carried the casualty out of the property and into the ambulance using drag sheets and a stretcher.
