
Firefighters from Bedale and Colburn were called out to reports of a Mercedes truck on fire yesterday.
The incident in Leases Road, Leeming Bar, occurred at around 6.30pm.
The fire in the vehicle, which had been converted into a mobile photography studio, originated and was confined to the engine compartment.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it caused a small amount of damage.
One dry powder extinguisher and one foam extinguisher was used prior to the fire services arrival to successfully extinguish the fire.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera to inspect only.
The cause of the fire was an overheated hydraulic cable.
