Firefighters were called out yesterday after a combine harvest caught fire.
The incident happened in a field in Moor Lane, Carthorpe, near Bedale.
Crews from Bedale, Ripon and Thirsk responded to the fire at about 6.45pm.
Firefighters extinguished the fire to the combine, along with two piles of corn that were alight and had fallen from the vehicle.
The crews then dampened down the area and gave advice to the farmer.
