Firefighters were called to help after a spillage of orange and mango juice on the road today.
The incident happened at about 10am in Leases Road, Leeming Bar.
A fire crew from Northallerton attended a report of the spillage of the concentrate juice.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This had occurred due to the straps bursting on the curtain side of the lorry and containers fell onto roadway.
“Crews used a drain cover to stop the juice entering drainage system and the incident was left with the highways who arranged a gully sucker to clean the roadway.”
