Firefighters were called to a fire at a commercial premises in Tannery Lane, Northallerton, early this morning.
The incident was reported just after 2am.
A crew from Northallerton Fire Station responded, arriving to find a fire in an industrial bin which was well alight and had spread to the side of the building.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and the gas board later attended to investigate further.
