Firefighters were called after youths set fire to straw in Northallerton yesterday.
The incident happened outside a commercial premises in Willow Beck Road at about 7.20pm.
Northallerton firefighters attended although the fire was out on arrival having been extinguished with a bucket of water.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said police were informed.
