Firefighters were called after a marquee blew onto telephone wires yesterday.
The incident happened at Kirkby Fleetham at a bout 2.15pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Bedale crews assisted with a marquee that had blown onto a telephone wire due to winds.
“There was no danger, crews assisted the owner to take the marquee down.”
