
Fire crews were called to a chicken shed on fire this morning.
The incident in Sowerby, near Thirsk, was reported at about 2.55am on Saturday morning.
A crew from Thirsk were initially mobilised after multiple reports of fire and smoke from motorists on the A168.
On arrival this was a fire involving a chicken shed.
The crew requested a further four appliances and a water bowser to attend to tackle the fire and prevent it spreading to further buildings.
