Emergency services called after car hits parked vehicle

The emergency services were called after a car crashed into a parled vehicle.

The incident happened in High Street, Great Broughton, at about 9.15pm on Friday.

Fire crews from Stokesley and neighbouring brigade Coulby Newham responded to reports of the single vehicle road traffic collision into a parked car.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The driver appeared to had fled the scene after further searches.

“Crews made the vehicle safe and the incident was left in the hands of police on scene.”
