A derelict caravan was destroyed in a fire started deliberately yesterday.
Fire crews from Thirsk and Ripon were called to the blaze at Asenby, near Thirsk, at about 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Both crews worked to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause is believed to have been deliberate.”
