Delivery of Hambleton European election poll cards delayed

Hambleton District Council says the delivery of some of its European Parliament election has been delayed due to an with Royal Mail.

The district council, which is administering the May 23 election, says it is working with its print provider to ensure the poll cards are delivered as soon as possible.

Hambleton electors are reminded that if they are away or cannot go to the polling station on Thursday, May 23 they can still do one of the following:

  • Apply to vote by post – completed applications must reach the council before 5pm tomorrow ( Wednesday 8 May 2019)
  • Apply to vote by proxy (this means someone else can vote on your behalf) – completed applications must reach the council before 5pm on Wednesday 15 May 2019.

Applications are available to download on the Council’s website – hambleton.gov.uk/electoralregister and can be returned in person, by email or fax to Electoral Services, Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton, DL6 2UU;  elecreg@hambleton.gov.uk; or fax: 01609 767228
