A cyclist was injured after a collision with a car in Easingwold at the weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a collision that happened on Church Street in at 12.25pm on Saturday.
A black Kia Sorento collided with a pedal cycle.
Police say the rider of the bike suffered serious injuries to his arm and was taken to York Hospital by ambulance.
The stretch of road was closed for a short time to allow officers to carry out investigation work at the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the car or bike before the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
