Final preparations are being made for this year’s festive markets in Hambleton .
Most of the markets are operating as normal throughout the Christmas season with the following changes: –
- extra markets in Northallerton and Bedale on Christmas Eve
- no market in Bedale on Christmas day or New Years Day and no market in Northallerton on Boxing Day.
“The weekly markets sell everything from cauliflowers to cards, socks to sweets and purses to plants,” said Councillor Isobel Sanderson, portfolio holder for governance.
“They are well worth a visit, you may pick up some great Christmas presents and are supporting the local economy at the same time.”
Markets are held in:
- Northallerton on Wednesday and Saturdays
- Thirsk on Mondays and Saturdays
- Bedale on Tuesdays
- Easingwold on Fridays
- Stokesley on Fridays
