The Sutton Bank National Park Centre has announced the return of its popular Countdown to Christmas events.
From Saturday, November 13, families can take part in the Big Bank present hunt, seeking out parcels which have accidentally been dropped from Santa’s sleigh.
Participants can pick up a trail map from the information desk for £3 (including a prize) and there’s no need to book.
On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November, the national park centre hosts its annual Christmas shopping weekend, featuring an extensive range of artisan and locally-produced gifts.
Alongside live music there will also be a number of tasting stalls for visitors to savour some of the finest craft gin, cider and whisky around.
Georgina Peirson, retail manager at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre, said: “Our gift shop and Christmas shopping event bring together a fabulous selection of different products and make it easy to find unique and personal gifts.
“With our festive family trail and the Park Life Café serving seasonal treats, the countdown to Christmas starts at Sutton Bank.”
The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is open daily from 10.30am to 4pm until 3 January, then weekends only until February.
It will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
