It happened between 11pm and midnight on July 12 on Meadow Lane.
The man who did it is believed to have been followed after the damage by two other males towards Moorview Road and Bullamoor Road.
A police spokesperson said: “We appreciate the quality of the image is poor, but someone may recognise him.
“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
