CCTV appeal after teenager assaulted in Aiskew

Police are asking residents living near a play park to check their doorbell or private CCTV footage after a teenager was assaulted.

The incident happened at around 2.45pm on Thursday, April 21 in the park in Kingfisher Drive, Aiskew.

The boy, aged in his late teens, was assaulted by two older males and sustained head injuries. 

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Since the offence took place, several lines of enquiry have been investigated and detectives would now like to identify people who may have seen the incident, the aftermath of the incident and residents who may have footage from private CCTV, which may hold information vital to the investigation.”

Two men aged 18 and 21 have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on conditional police bail.
