A car overturned this morning after skidding on ice.
The crash occurred on the A168 at Thornton-le-Beans, between Northallerton and Thirsk.
The emergency services were called to the single vehicle collision just after 5am.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Northallerton responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision where the car had skidded on ice and ended up on its roof.
“The crew used a glass master to remove the windscreen and free the occupant who was transported to hospital with minor injuries.”
