A car fire caused a blaze in a field early this morning.
The incident happened at Girsby, between Northallerton and Darlington, at about 12.10am.
Firefighters from Northallerton attended the car alight in a field.
The fire had spread to 20 square metres of field.
Crews extinguished both the vehicle and the field using hose reel jets and spreaders.
