District and parish elections take place in Hambleton today.
All 28 seats, representing 17 wards on Hambleton District Council, are up for election.
There are 63 candidates standing for the district seats, including 28 Conservatives, 18 for Labour, seven for the Green Party, six Liberal Democrats and four Independents.
The Huby is uncontested where Di Watkins, from the Conservatives, stands unopposed
