Firefighters were called to an address in Northallerton today after a report of smoke coming from the premises.
Fire crews from Richmond and Northallerton responded to the incident at about 12,45pm.
Firefighters gained entry, established the occupant was not present and then ventilated the premises by opening windows.
The ‘smoke’ was believed to be due to a bug bomb.
