Club leaders at Hambleton Athletics and Running Club (HARC) say there has been much to celebrate this autumn, with members taking part in a huge array of races and events.
Harvey Wilkinson is going from strength to strength, winning the U17 shotput in the Gateshead Indoor Series, having just moved up an age category.
Joanne Sinnott tackled the Tadcaster 10 Mile and the Yorkshire Marathon, and achieved course personal bests for both.
Craig Keedy came 10th overall at the Dalby Dash and finished in second place at the Bridlington Half Marathon.
Not satisfied with silver though, he stormed the course at the Gunpowder Plot 10k and took home the overall winner’s trophy.
Michael Hollinshead smashed his previous course PB at Arrachar 10k, knocking seven minutes off his previous time, as well as taking on his first marathon in 18 years at Loch Ness.
Nick Wilson ran 57.5 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh in the G2E trail event.
Sarah Sherwood, spokesperon for the club, said: “Whether you’re interested in track and field athletics, road or trail running, we can help you start up, keep going, and improve performance.
“Whatever your goals, our coach-led sessions and programmes can support you to realize them.”
