Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace a missing 15-year-old girl.
Eslem was last seen at home at 10.05am on Tuesday.
She said she was going to travel by bus to meet a friend in Rawcliffe that afternoon but failed to return home.
Her worried family reported her missing on Tuesday evening and extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate Eslem.
As well as York, she is known to visit Malton and Leeds.
It is hoped this public appeal will provide information and possible sightings of her.
Eslem is described as white, 5ft 2in tall, slim build, with long, curled dark-brown hair with a middle parting and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black Lycra top, grey joggers, white socks and carrying a large black leather handbag.
Information or possible sightings should be reported to police.
