Appeal launched to find partially sighted missing dog

Missing dog Twiga.

An appeal has been launched to find a partially sighted dog.

Black Labrador Twiga went missing from a garden in Felixkirk Road, Thirsk, at about 8.30pm on Monday.

The nine-year-old family pet has a white chin and white spots on the underside of his feet.

A Facebook group has been set up to aid the search and residents are being urged to check their sheds and gardens.

A poster campaign is planned this weekend.

The last sighting was on Tuesday night when Twiga was seen in Stammergate, Thirsk, when he was seen running across the bridge.
