A trailer left on a Northallerton street for more than eight months is set to be moved, council officials say.
The trailer, which appears to be carrying a fairground stall, was left in Mount View on the Standard Way Business Park in September last year.
Local businesses have complained to the district and county council about the trailer, saying it causes traffic congestion at busy times.
North Yorkshire County Council area manager for highways, Jayne Charlton, confirmed the authority had received a complaint about the trailer.
“One of our highway officers visited the site on the same day and was able to confirm it did not present a hazard to road users.
“Since then we have been in contact with representatives of the owner and have been assured the trailer will be moved later this week, though it requires some maintenance before that can happen.”
