The A684 is closed at Morton-on-Swale after a collision.
The road is shut in both directions.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services are in attendance so the road may be closed for the next hour or so.
“Please avoid the area if you can and if possible find an alternative route.”
