Police issue appeal after woman abuses buskers in Northallerton

Northallerton High Street.

It happened at around 1pm on Sunday, October 27 on the High Street.

A woman was shouting abuse at two buskers who were playing at the corner of Zetland Street and the High Street.

The victims were not injured, however, police are concerned that this behaviour may be part of a wider pattern or campaign of abuse.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about the nature of what was said, the attitude of the suspect, or if you have seen a woman in the area behave in a similar way to the victims in the past.”
