Firefighters from Stokesley assisted ambulance crews by gaining access to a house in Great Ayton this morning.
A person in the property had fallen earlier and was no longer answering the phone.
The fire crew was called at about 2.45am this morning,
They found the elderly male occupant thankfully inside asleep in bed.
The incident was left with the ambulance crew.
