Police are appealing for information after a village hall near Thirsk was broken into and damaged.
Two suspects are believed to have entered Dalton Village Hall yesterday at about 1am.
It was ransacked and internal doors were damaged, although nothing is thought to have been taken.
A spokesperson for the village hall said: “They have gained entry through the fire exit doors around the back. We have them on CCTV and the police have been out.
“Please could people check their ring doorbells and CCTV to see if they have any footage which might help catch these males who think it’s acceptable to attack our community hall.
Police are investigating and urging anyone with information, or who saw anything suspicious, to get in touch by emailing jake.reed@northyorkshire.police.uk or calling us on 101 and asking for PC Jake Reed.
