Firefighters were called to a wheelie bin on fire last night.
The incident happened off Thirsk Road, Northallerton, at about 10.10pm.
A crew from Northallerton responded to the fire.
This was believed to have been set deliberately.
Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to identify hotspots for damping down.
