Firefighters were called to help with a casualty after they had suffered a fall.
The incident happened in Newby Wiske, near Northallerton, at about 9.20pm on Saturday.
A crew from Northallerton responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist with moving the casualty.
Crews assisted in moving from the casualty from the floor to the stretcher and out to the ambulance to be taken to hospital for treatment.
