The emergency services were called to a two-car collision today.
The incident happened at about 11am in York Road, Easingwold .
Firefighters from Easingwold responded to the crash which involved aa Skoda and BMW.
All occupants were out of the vehicles on the arrival of crews.
Fire crews used a dry powder extinguisher on the battery compartment of the BMW due to impact damage.
Crews carried out traffic management on scene while awaiting the arrival of police.
The incident was left in the hands of the police.
