A new accommodation block has opened at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre near Thirsk.
Centre bosses say the Lakehouse features bespoke bathrooms, improved use of space and an “upgraded experience” for guests on residential activity stays.
Coinciding with the new accommodation, a price freeze on its activity days until March 2024 has also been announced to help families to continue to keep their children active through its education and activity programmes.
David Sharp, chief executive, said: “We are very excited about opening The Lakehouse which is part of our continuing investment in developing Carlton Lodge Activity Centre and gives our young visitors an overall high level experience as part of their activity events here.”
The Centre says it will also be offering a range of discounts for bookings made in winter months when more indoor activities will be included in its programmes.
David added: “We are aware however that the cost of living is affecting families and that many people are having to make choices about their spending decisions.
“Even though our own costs are rising, we believe that by holding our prices we will be able to help more families in these difficult economic times.”
