A Northallerton teen has tasted success at the national schoolgirls boxing championships in Guildford for the second time.
Hannah Holden, 14, won in style by stopping her opponent in the first round.
The Northallerton School pupil will now represent England in the Tri Nations in June and is eligible to try out for the England squad for the European Championships where she won Bronze last year.
Hanna trains out of the Phil Thomas School of Boxing in Middlesbrough and is supported by a number of Northallerton-based sponsors, including Snigwig Used Car Sales, Fighting Fit’s 3D Body Scanning and Fitness and Zest Leisure Centre.
Hanna trains ten times a week and hopes to represent her country at the highest levels.
