The Wensleydale Railway is running a jazz train for an evening of music in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity fundraiser will run on Saturday, June 17.
The event starts at 7pm at Leeming Bar station with music and dancing on the platform, before the train leaves at 7.30pm for a round trip to Leyburn.
The band will play on board the train and also at Leyburn station.
There will be an auction of promises and raffle and on board with some fantastic prizes, including holiday vouchers, wine and chocolates, a holiday cottage stay and an introduction to clay pigeon shooting.
Guests are invited to bring their own picnic and drink to enjoy on the trip and there will also be a bar on board the train serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks throughout the journey.
Nick Keegan, spokesperson for the railway, said: “The band will be made up of some original members of the now disbanded Swale Valley Stompers group as well as some new players.
“This evening event is close to Midsummer’s Day and will show Wensleydale at its best in the late daylight.
“Don’t miss this enjoyable evening for a great cause.”
Peter Edmonds, band spokesperson, added: “We raised over £3,300 for Macmillan Nurses last year and hope to raise even more this year for such a worthy cause.”
Tickets for the event cost £20 and can be bought from the railway or band members.
