Motorists suffer minor injuries after A19 crash

The emergency services were called after a crash on the A19 on Monday.

The incident happened at about 10.40am on the southbound carriageway between Knayton and South Kilvington.

A BMW had left the road and it was reported that two occupants were trapped inside.

Police, paramedics and firefighters from Thirsk, Ripon and Northallerton attended.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and rescue Service said: “On arrival, the occupants were out of the vehicle and treated by paramedics on scene for minor injuries.”
