A car rolled down an embankment after a two-vehicle collision on the A1(M) yesterday.
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near Leeming at about 6pm.
One of the vehicles rolled down the bank and onto the A6055.
Fire crews from Bedale, Colburn and Northallerton responded to the incident.
Two children and an adult were checked over at the scene by paramedics.
The fire crews stabilized one of the vehicles and made the scene safe on both roads.
