A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary in Northallerton.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the garage burglary.
The incident happened between 10.30pm and 11:00pm in Springwell Lane on Monday when a suspect was seen running off from the area.
A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or who has private CCTV or a video doorbell and may have caught the suspect on camera is asked to get in touch.
