Motorist cut free after Brompton crash

A motorist had to be cut free after a crash near Brompton last night.

The incident happened at around 10.20pm in Stokesley Road.

Two fire crews from Northallerton attended the two-vehicle collision.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One male was released from one of the vehicles by crews using e-cutting equipment, spreaders, small tools and lighting.

“He was taken to hospital by road ambulance for further checks.”
