A road is closed near Bedale a after a serioous collision.
The emergency services are attending the crash near Thorpe Perrow Arboretum, on the road towards the village of Snape.
Two Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service helicopters are at the scene along with police.
The road is closed in both directions.
It is understood a male casualty has been transported to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
It is not known if anyone else was injured in the collision.
