Campaigners have projected a video about the cost of living crisis on to the North Yorkshire home of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
The video was shone onto the front of the Richmond MP’s £1.5m house at Kirby Sigston near Northallerton.
The stunt was carried out by Greenpeace.
The campaign group parked a van outside the constituency home and used it to beam the trailer of a documentary on the impact of the energy crisis on to the facade of the Georgian manor house.
The documentary, made by Greenpeace in partnership with the New Economics Foundation, tells the story of a community struggling to make ends meet, through the cost-of-living crisis in foodbanks and community centres in the Rother Valley, also in Yorkshire.
The campaign group then shared a video of the direction action on Facebook.
The post said: “Rishi Sunak is failing to keep people warm this winter, so we brought our message directly to his mansion in Yorkshire.”
