The emergency services were called to a collision at Swainby last night.
The incident at Scarth Nick was reported art about 9.20pm.
A fire crew from Northallerton responded to the single vehicle accident.
It was reported that the vehicle had left the road and ended up in a ditch with the driver trapped in the vehicle.
On arrival, firefighters found that the driver was out of the vehicle and in the care of the police.
No action was required by the fire service and the incident was left in the hands of the police awaiting recovery of the vehicle.
