Firefighters called amid LPG collision fears

Firefighters were called out today to a road traffic collision amid concerns about a LPG cylinder.

The incident happened on the A684 in Crakehall at about 11am today.

Fire crews from Bedale and Northallerton responded to reports of a two vehicle collision that may have involved an LPG cylinder.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival all occupants were out of their vehicles and the LPG cylinder was found to be intact and not involved.

“Crew made the scene safe.”
