Teenage victim of A6055 collision with tractor named

An 18-year-old woman who died in a collision on the A6055 has been named.

An inquest into the death of Charlotte Harrison is due to open on Monday, April 25 at the Coroner’s Court, in Northallerton.

Charlotte died on April 1 when her car was involved in a collision with a tractor on the A6055 between Catterick Village and Leeming.

The incident happened at Little Holtby, near the entrance to Holtby Hall.

The teenager, who lived locally, was driving a grey Fiat 500 car that was heading south when it was in collision with a green tractor and trailer that was heading north.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the collision and motorists with dash-cams who were in the area at the time to come forward.
