A Hambleton village is hosting its big beer festival once more.
Danby Wiske, near Northallerton, hosts its third Yorkshire Beer Festival after an absence of two years caused by the pandemic.
Organised by the village hall committee to raise funds for the hall, the event is held over two days on Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23.
The festival will feature 15 beers, two lagers and two ciders – all sourced from Yorkshire breweries – plus a range of gins, wine and prosecco.
Hot food will be available throughout the weekend and on Saturday there will also be live music from The Wiskey Band and Tom Thorne, with The Bootleggers UK as the headline act.
Chief organiser and village hall chairman Adrian Farmer said: “After a two-year pause because of the pandemic we are looking forward to welcoming people back to the village for the festival.
“We have got a great line-up of top-quality beers which will showcase Yorkshire’s vibrant brewery industry.”
The festival is held in the village hall from 5-11pm on the Friday and from noon to 11pm on Saturday. Entry is £3 and includes commemorative glass and programme.
