The emergency services are training at Dishforth Airfield today.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Royal Air Force are taking part in the exercise.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “You may see increased activity at this location, along with a number of emergency service vehicles so please don’t be alarmed.
“Along with our colleagues at North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Royal Air Force we are today taking part in a training exercise at RAF Dishforth.
“You may see increased activity at this location, along with a number of emergency service vehicles so please don’t be alarmed.
“Exercises like this one play a key role in ensuring we are always ready to respond to a whole range of incidents and enable us to test out our capabilities and skills alongside our partner organisations.”
