Hambleton District Council is reopening its markets next week as lockdown rules are eased.
The markets in Thirsk and Northallerton have been running with just food stalls since lockdown was imposed.
But from June 1 all traders can return to their high street slots.
Thirsk opens first – on Monday June 1, with Northallerton following on Wednesday, and then both on Saturday.
Stokesley market will resume on June 5, with a new layout and a one-way system.
Traders have been given guidance on ways to operate safely for both customers and staff, and that social distancing measures can be followed.
It is hope the farmers market will return to Thirsk by July.
The council is also re-imposing car park charges in all its car parks from June 1.
They had been suspended during lockdown.
But with Government guidance now changed and with more people out and about the council says it needs to manage the demand on its car parks.
However, parking will remain free for NHS staff, social care staff and volunteers displaying a valid badge – either government or North Yorkshire County Council issued.
Car park users are being asked to be respectful of others and maintain social distancing.
There will be signs at the parking pay stations to encourage social distancing and reminding users of the Government guidance.
“With more people returning to work and more people visiting our towns we need to return to previous parking arrangements,” said council leader, Councillor Mark Robson.
Parking enforcement will also be reintroduced across North Yorkshire, for on-street and off-street parking.
