A Thirsk company is sanitising community areas of the town for free.
Cleancore UK has been carrying out the work in the evenings after doing other jobs.
Company owner Chad Campbell said: “We’ve served schools and assisted living accommodation areas within the community of Thirsk and surrounding areas.
“We’ve been looking after the two most important generations of people on the planet, those who have given us their everything and the little ones.”
He said the company was trying to “put people’s minds at ease” over the coronavirus outbreak.
“There’s a lot of panic going on at the minute,” he said.
“It’s sanitising of public spaces. Anything that hands come into contact with or immediate areas into the building, walkways etc.”
Chad paid tribute to employee Steve Donovan-Loomes who was giving up his evenings to do the work.
He added: “Steve is one of a kind and we’re so lucky to have him on board. You’re the man junior.
“We have been overwhelmed by the love and support from you all and it’s making us want to get more and more areas sanitised for you.
“This is our home town and we will do all that we can to help the people who need it most.”
