Gin maker launches limited edition batch to mark opening of new distillery

Gin maker Masons is making a comeback after a devastating fire by launching a limited edition batch from their new distillery.

Ten months after the fire which destroyed their Aiskew factory, Masons Gin have moved to their new distillery in nearby Leeming Bar and announced their comeback plans.

The company said that people flocked from far and wide to help the business after the fire in April 2019.

From donations of stationery, laptops, office space and even other distilleries offering up their equipment, the business set up a contingency plan within 24 hours.

To mark the opening of their new distillery and to say thank you to everyone who supported their journey, Masons are launching Phoenix Edition: a special edition batch of Masons Original gin produced from their new still.

2,000 bottles will be made to commemorate the occasion.

Each bottle of Phoenix Edition has been custom designed with artwork detailing a phoenix rising from ashes to signify Masons’ journey.

Each bottle will be presented in a custom designed gift box and £2.50 from every bottle made will be donated to The Fire Fighter’s Charity (registered charity number 1093387).
